Your Key to Success - Multiple Tier Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs are a great way to earn a very good living from the web, but if you want to earn as much as you can then you need to know all of the best tricks to maximize your sales. Most affiliate programs will just simply pay you when you make a sale and then you have to try to find another customer to get paid again. Very simple but it takes a lot of work to earn a reasonable amount of money. If you are very good at promoting then you can leave your campaigns on auto pilot, other than checking regularly to make sure that they are still getting the right amount of sales. But it is still work that has to be taken care of and checked regularly.

Then you have residual income affiliate programs. These are where you can earn a commission on a regular basis for just making one sale. They are becoming more and more prevalent as they are very popular with affiliates and a good way to get good affiliates to sell a product. These are usually for things that the customer buys on an ongoing basis such as web hosting, or a monthly membership site where the customer keeps on paying month after month and so you keep on getting you commission every monthly, even though you only made one sale. This is obviously a much better way of making a good residual income as you do not have to constantly sell to get paid.

But there are also affiliate programs that will let you, as well as making your own sales, also sign up others to work as affiliates. You then get a percentage of all of the money that they make. So if you manage to find very good affiliates that make a lot of sales, you can make a good living by getting paid, not only for your own sales, but also for those of the affiliates that you signed up to the program. This can give you a very good residual income as well as your usual affiliate commission.

Other affiliate programs offer commission for multiple levels, some even 10 levels deep. Even though some of these types of affiliate programs have a bad reputation they are the ones that will bring you the most money in the long run. Just make sure you choose carefully! With multiple affiliate programs you will benefit not only just for your own sales and the sales of your directly enrolled affiliates but also for the people that sign up below your affiliates, and your affiliates affiliates and your affiliates affiliates affiliates … etc… got the point? This is the key to long term residual income. I have spent more than 10 years online promoting different affiliate programs and if I should give you a tip on which affiliate programs to choose I would say it would be smart to go for a company that have a long track record. SFI, Empowerism and Success University are some of the best I’ve found and they have been around for long time now.

Good Luck!

How to Generate Automatic Residual Income Today

How to Generate Automatic Residual Income Today

Affiliate programs are a great way to earn extra income. For those that aren’t familiar with them, they are a commission based sales system where the affiliate gets a commission for every sale that they make. For Instance if you are promoting an ebook that sells for $50 and the publisher is offering a 50% commission, then for every sale you make you will get $25.

The commission rates tend to be quite high for digital products, as there is very little cost to the publisher after the book is written. The delivery is by either a direct digital download or through an email attachment. This means that they can afford to offer a higher commission as a way of getting more affiliates to promote their products. If you promote a paper book, say from Amazon, then the commissions are much lower as they have to pay for it to be made and delivered, as well as all of the ancillary costs that are associated with with real products.

One of the best places to find digital products to sell and thus get the high commission is through Clickbank.com. They have around 11,000 products all of which are digital. This means that you have all the simplicity of selling a digital product, i.e. no physical delivery or stock to worry about, combined with a built-in affiliate program that is operated by a third party where all have to do is sign up with your Click bank name and you are automatically paid every time you sell the product, on a biweekly basis.

One of the disadvantages with being an affiliate for a single sale product such as an ebook, is that there is often no residual income associated with the sale. A residual income is one where you keep on being paid for the same sale. A good example of this is if you make a sale as an affiliate, not for an ebook, but for a subscription type of product such as a newsletter or e-zine, or for something that people pay for on a regular basis, such as a hosting service for web sites. If you have a residual income then it means that you can concentrate on finding new customers, while still being paid by the old ones. This can increase your income greatly, as with each new set of customers your monthly residual income will increase to even higher levels.

Personally I do affiliate marketing for both “one-time” products and residual income programs but my main focus will always be on building more residual sales. I simply use the income from one-time sales from i.e. Clickbank.com as a supplement to my already growing checks. Actually you could start making money from affiliate programs today – it is easy!

How to Avoid Newbie Mistakes!

I think the biggest "mistake" newbies make is focusing on far too many things at once. Most people try to make a living online, when really they should focus on just one thing at the time. Start with ONE project, fine tune it, get it making some money and then once you have figured out how to make money in that niche, and are making money on a steady basis - you simply do the same things over again to start adding an additional revenue stream from another niche.

Of course you will have to make some changes to fine tune your efforts from time to time. Your second project should be a niche that is completely different from the first one. The basics will be the same... traffic generation, conversion, etc. but try to just focus on that ONE thing, figure it out, master it, get it to make some money to a level where you're satisfied, then start all over again in another niche. That is what Internet Marketing is all about – MOMENTUM! You need to push and push until you got that wheel running. When it is running good then change to the next wheel (could be a different marketing effort for instance) and keep on pushing until you achieve the desired results. Then you’ll have to repeat the tasks that bring you money over and over again and get rid of the ones that don’t produce CASH!

Far too often I see people running from project to project before they make any money, hoping that the next project will yield better results than the last. While this can be true (You do have to throw in the towel sometimes) - the important thing is to fine tune what you're doing with ONE Project, then move on to the next and do it all over again. The basics, as I mentioned earlier - are the same for all types of products / niches / etc...

I have a good number of websites and while not all are earning me any money (some are what I call sleepy sites that I will focus on later when I have time to spare) the ones I DO focus on are all bringing me in money month after month. Some very well, some not so well. But I never "launch" a new venture until the one that I am working on is giving me the return that I feel it should. Sometimes I even launch 2 or 3 sites in the same niche, so that I compete with myself (better that I compete and get the sale on one of 3 or 4 sites - then give it to a competitor) but I still stick with this formula, it works for me anyway and it works for many other Internet Marketers - very successfully!

It's also important not to have unrealistic expectations. Sometimes when I launch a site, it takes 2-3-4, even 6 months before it starts to bring in what I consider an acceptable amount of revenue. But I don't stray from that site. I work to bring the traffic, build a loyal customer base, etc. until I reach what I believe to be a realistic income from that site.

And I can not stress this enough - BUILD A LIST! Make a compelling offer that entices people to sign up for your newsletter. If you haven't got a sequence of autoresponders enticing your customers - DON'T WORRY! Write a quick email thanking them for joining your newsletter and promise them offers they can't get anywhere else (and deliver on the promise of course) - but don't let your lack of 10 or 20 pre-written messages stop you from building your list. Having this list will mean that you can promote your offer to them over and over again.

Don’t underestimate the power of a good list!

Tough Guys Make it Online!

Are you planning to start your own internet business? Have you seen all those fancy sales pages that promises you millions for nothing and life for free and decided to jump on the wagon? Great! But did you know that close to 95% of all internet entrepreneurs fail? Did you know that only a very few people on the internet actually makes more than 500$ a month and that only a fraction of all internet marketers are able to make their living online and even fewer make a six figure income?

If this doesn’t scare you off you must be a tough one – and you have to be tough to make it online. Not tough in a “mean” way but you really need to have the dedication it takes to keep on going, even in times when you feel like crawling backwards through a swamp. You need the spirit not to give up if you don’t see immediate results. It’s all about building momentum and to manage to create that you have to be a person who doesn’t give up!

Are you tough enough to become an internet millionaire?
Do you have what it takes to make it online?

Personally I have been close to giving up many times in my life. At one point I in fact decided to let my online marketing go and I just lay it all to rest. However, I just couldn’t sit around with nothing to do and little by little I started thinking about getting into the game again. And I haven’t been in doubt ever since. To get back in was maybe the smartest choice I have ever made!

It takes a lot of work but when you have created the necessary momentum, made a system that works for you and you see the money start rolling in it sure is worth it. The flexibility of being able to work from anywhere, anytime, is such a fantastic feeling.

Now I can spend more time with my family and do the things I really want to do.

…and so can YOU!

The key to unlock your chains of miserably low income is Residual Income! When you work at a regular job you work, say, 40 hours and get paid for the hours you have worked. With Residual Income you get paid for each sale you make, but not only when you make that sale but month after month as long as the customer stays a member of the product or service you sold him. Bring in 10 customers a month and let say they all stay members for a year you will have 120 members by the end of the year. Let’s say you get 20$ per month per customer which is fairly standard – then you have a monthly income of 2400$ a month by the end of the year without any additional work! Now, all who joins every month won’t stay for a full year so you will have to fill up those empty holes with new members but you got the picture, right?

Now, what is holding you back? Do your research thoroughly and start your journey towards financial independence.
